The Bothy in The Garden...An excellent quality two bedroomed self catering cottage accommodating up to 4 persons.
Surrounded by magnificent scenery overlooking Beadnell Bay, Dunstanburgh Castle and the Cheviot Hills yet within a short pleasant walk of a sandy beach and the attractive coastal village of Beadnell. The village has a charming West-facing harbour and 18th century lime kilns overlooking the panoramic sweep of Beadnell Bay. In the centre of the village is the church of St Ebba and close by are the local pub and hotel both serving evening meals. You will also find a fish restaurant, Post Office and general store. The Bothy has two bedrooms one with a comfortable king size bed and one with comfortable full size twin beds with all linen and towels provided. Both are individually furnished with TV, radio alarms and electric blankets. The fitted kitchen is well equipped with microwave oven, ceramic hob and oven, fridge and dishwasher. There is a separate laundry room with automatic washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. The bright and airy well furnished sitting room has comfortable sofas, colour TV, DVD and A French window leads onto your own private terrace with sun loungers and garden furniture where you may relax and enjoy spectacular views of the coast and countryside, admire the magnificient sunsets and watch the many species of birds and wildlife in the garden. You may of course enjoy our lovely south facing summerhouse garden ensuring you enjoy a stress free holiday. The Bothy has it's own private and safe parking within gated grounds. The Bothy is and ideal base for visiting the numerous attractions of North Northumberland which is also known as 'The Secret Kingdom'. This is a county of undiscovered dramatic landscapes and a unique history and heritage. Nearby are the ancient castles of Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh and Alnwick Castle (the home of Harry Potter!) is a short drive away. Alnwick has recently opened their new walled gardens which are fast becoming the North East's most popular tourist attraction. The Bothy is a beamed traditional detached cosy country cottage all on one level, well equipped and fully heated with comfortable beds and bright airy rooms within the mature gardens of our Georgian stone cottage, which is quietly situated on Northumberland's Heritage Coast.
